Forschung Psychiatrische Rehabilitation

Die Forschenden des Zentrums Psychiatrische Rehabilitation (ZPR) befassen sich mit Grundlagen- und anwendungsorientierter Forschung rund um die rehabilitative Begleitung von Menschen mit psychischen Problemen, Erkrankungen und Behinderungen. Menschen mit diesen Einschränkungen erleben Schwierigkeiten im Alltag, die ihre gesellschaftliche Teilhabe beeinträchtigen.

Darüber hinaus werden Innovations- und Entwicklungsprojekte innerhalb des ZPR durchgeführt sowie Versorgungsforschung, Implementierungsforschung, theoretische Analysen und epidemiologische Studien (auch im Zusammenhang mit psychischen Problemen während der COVID-19-Pandemie). Mit der Berner Fachhochschule, Fachbereich Pflege, besteht eine Akademie-Praxis-Partnerschaft.

Das wissenschaftliche und praktische Verständnis von psychiatrischer Rehabilitation, wie sie im ZPR umgesetzt wird, folgt primär dem Prinzip der Unterstützung mit dem Ziel der sozialen Inklusion. Im Rahmen der gesamten Versorgung und Begleitung von Menschen mit psychischen Problemen hat die psychiatrische Rehabilitation ein grosses Potenzial zur Weiterentwicklung, das derzeit noch nicht hinreichend ausgeschöpft wird.

Wir fokussieren uns auf die Themenbereiche Wohnen, Arbeit, Ausbildung, Beschäftigung, Freizeit und Gesundheit im Leben von Menschen mit psychischen Beeinträchtigungen, wobei die rehabilitativen Aspekte Inklusion, Empowerment und Recovery eine zentrale Rolle spielen.

Dabei nutzen wir ein breites Methodenspektrum aus der qualitativen und quantitativen Forschung zur Entwicklung und Evaluation von psychosozialen Interventionen. Entscheidend ist für uns der Einbezug verschiedener Perspektiven, insbesondere derjenigen von Menschen mit psychischen Beeinträchtigungen.
